The Person Behind the Work
I’m Pete Erickson — a Technical Project Expert, Cloud Consultant, and AI Enthusiast. I’ve worked with large Enterprise clients, including extensive experience with a Fortune 50 Healthcare company, and my mission is to bring that experience to smaller Healthcare organizations. HIPAA, PHI, HITRUST, these aren’t acronyms, they are what your organization lives and dies by. I’m here to help FQHC’s and other healthcare organizations that don’t have the personnel to do cloud and AI by themselves, or don’t have the funding to hire a Big 4 firm to help guide them.
I’ve spent more than 12 years leading complex projects across healthcare, enterprise software, and emerging technology. My background started in cloud and spans both traditional project management and agile delivery, which means I can meet your organization where it is — not where a methodology says it should be. I hold a PMP certification, a Professional Scrum Master certification, and a Google AI certification, and I’ve been hands-on with cloud and AI long enough to know the difference between what vendors promise and what organizations actually need.
What drives me is the gap — the space between a great strategy and a delivered result. That’s where projects get lost, timelines slip, and teams lose confidence. Bridging that gap is what I do best.
I’ve been working on complex projects since the early 2010’s, and the through-line across everything I’ve done since is this: technology only creates value when people can actually use it, and people can only use it when someone manages the journey well. That’s the work I show up to do every day.
I’m based in the Pacific Northwest, where I live with my wife and our three daughters. When I’m not helping healthcare organizations navigate transformation, I’m usually working in the garden, kayaking, making music, or getting lost in the fantasy novel I’ve been building for years. I believe the same things that make a good story make a good project — clarity of purpose, the right people in the right roles, and someone willing to do the unglamorous work of keeping everything moving forward.
